ICC is Indigenous led, and peer led with lived experiences. We are here to foster cultural identity, reduce recidivism, bring hope and healing to the lost, revitalize the language, support recovery, and invest in our children of the future. In doing so, bringing social and economic improvement to Grand Rapids and the surrounding area.
You will find Talking Circles for Warrior Down, Wellbriety, and Traditional Talking Circle. Sweatlodge, Ceremonies, and Medicine Wheel Teachings. Recovery/Relapse Prevention, Reentry resources per individual need. Resources for Employment, and Health Care. We will focus on the 7 Teachings, Medicine Wheel Teachings, and Creating Healthy Forests, as taught by Don Coyis publisher of White Bison Programs. We will harvest and grow Traditional foods and Medicines, and invest in our children of the next 7 generations.
